       VINCI Energies is one of the 4 branches of VINCI, world's leading integrated concessions and construction. Graniou Val de Loire is a trademark of VINCI Energies. The brand Graniou unites all activities, infrastructure and telecom services of VINCI Energies.

What have I done at Graniou?

       At Graniou, branch of the group Vinci Energies, I had the position of a network auditor intern. I have established a comprehensive diagnosis of the fiber optic network between Paris and Angouleme. It requiered onsite interventions and testing the connexion zones. I then wrote detailed reports describing the network's status destined to SFR. This audit is part of a maintenance contract with SFR.

I've work independantly during a large part of the intership and also with the engineers and technicians who manage the telecommunications infrastructure projects.

A brief analysis of the internship

       This internship helped me discover many things about the optic fiber, the telecom sector and its issues, and also gave me an experience of management technics which appealed me and conforted my ambitions and my professional project.
I found a young, dynamic company in a stressful sector. I was led to observe and reflect on the structure, organization, management of this middle-size company.

My job introduced me to the world of telecommunications and more particularly to the management of the infrastructure of a large group and I learned valuable things during my mission. Mobility, independence, discipline, organization were required during this internship and these are things a good engineer and a good manager needs to know.
